DynamicZip
Build 71 New Features and Modifications
Build 71-sp1 (released
9/20/2007)
-
User Modified Taxable Amount - The
Receivables Tax Entry window and the Payables Tax Entry window allow the
user to modify the Total Sales or Purchases amount and the Total Taxable
Sales or Purchases amount of the individual Document Tax Details. Prior
to this modification, the DynamicZip Tax Reports were restricting these
amounts to the amounts entered on the face of the document. As of this
modification, the DynamicZip Tax Reports will reflect the user modified
amounts regardless of whether or not they match the face of the
document. As always, the Reconcile Documents feature of the DynamicZip
Tax Reports will reconcile the Document Tax Details back to the actual
document totals.
Build 71 (released
8/30/2007)
-
Added compatibility for Microsoft Dynamics GP
10.0
-
Security - With the upgrade of
DynamicZip for use with Microsoft Dynamics GP v.10.0 we have added
integration to and compliance with v.10's roll based security model. In
this model, each user is assigned a roll. Each roll is assigned one or
more tasks. Each task is assigned one or more operations. Each user has
permissions to perform only those operations assigned to him or her via
his or her roll.
-
Silent DZ Extended Tax
Recalculation - To facilitate the use of Macros to perform the
DZ Extended Tax Recalculation on multiple documents, we have added the
option to "silence" this process.
The following entry in the Dex.ini file is used to enable this option:
DZ_SopTaxRecalculateSilent=TRUE
This setting alters the DZ Extended Tax Recalculation in the following
ways:
- The report of changes will be saved to the DynamicZip Log File
instead of being printed to the report window.
- The process will set the change flag even when no changes are made.
By so doing, the window behavior (i.e Do you want to save changes?) will
be the same for all documents as required for a macro to function
properly.
This option can be disabled by modifying the Dex.ini file
entry as follows:
DZ_SopTaxRecalculateSilent=FALSE
